DEMOREST - Lindsey Brakhage, a graduate of Johnson High School, who is a vocal performance major at Piedmont College, will present her senior recital at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 6, in the Chapel at the college’s Center for Worship and Music in Demorest.
Admission is free.
A 2009 graduate of JHS, Brakhage, who is from Flowery Branch, will perform works by Haydn, Rossini, Brahms, Faure, Mozart, Barber, and Ricky Ian Gordon.
A member of “Cantabile” singers at Piedmont College, Brakhage is also the soprano section leader for the Grace Calvary Episcopal Church and Mountain Voices choirs. After graduating, she plans to continue her education in graduate school to focus on opera performance.
Brakhage is the daughter of Dennis Brakhage and Diane Cape.
