Lewis named chief of staff at NGMC; other staff officers announced

GAINESVILLE - The following physicians were recently elected as Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s medical staff officers for 2013: Ron Lewis, MD, chief of staff; and Priscilla Strom, MD, vice chief of staff.

Dr. Lewis a general surgeon with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Surgical Associates and has been on staff since 2001. Dr. Strom is a general surgeon with The Longstreet Clinic, P.C., and has been on staff since 1994.

The 2013 department chiefs were also announced:
