Missing Alzheimer's patient located

GAINESVILLE - A missing Gainesville Alzheimer's patient, the subject of a mid-day search Monday, has been located in Cherokee County, according to Gainesville Police.

Police Corporal Kevin Holbrook said the department got word around 2:10 p.m. that 72 year old, Brenda "Diane" Skinner had been found. Holbrook said she was being evaluated at a local hospital.

Skinner had been the focus of a search since last being seen around 11:30 a.m. Monday.
