Golf: Lady Spartans, Norcross boys win West Hall Invitational

BRASELTON -- The West Hall girls claimed their own tournament, while the Norcross boys also won in the West Hall Invitational on Saturday at Chateau Elan in Braselton.
The Lady Spartans stormed their way to a team total 298 to earn the victory.
West Hall was led by senior Malorie Smith and juniors Olivia Davis and Morgan Rivett. Both Smith and Davis made the all tournament team. The girls low medalist was North Murray’s Jocelyn Blair, who shot an 88.
The Norcross boys totaled a 301 to take first. The Blue Devils were paced by Jason Mendel's 71, Zach Healy's 74 and Clay Trocchio’s 74. Richmond Academy was the runner-up on the boy’s side with a team total of 305. Richmond was lead by University of Georgia signee Greyson Sigg’s low medalist score of 68.
