Tennis: Gainesville girls stay undefeated in winning Wildcat Invitational

DULUTH -- The undefeated Gainesville girls tennis team came up aces on Saturday to win the Duluth Wildcat Invitational at the Epic Tennis Center in Duluth.

The Lady Red Elephants won four of five matches against South Forsyth to claim the title on Saturday.

The performance followed victories over Flowery Branch (4-1) on Friday and Duluth (5-0) on Saturday morning.

“My girls rose to the challenge and played some impressive tennis,” Gainesville coach Kellie Smith said.
