MANS agents busy, arrest eight in three casesBy Derreck Booth Editor GAINESVILLE - Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad Agents have made eight reported drug-related arrests in three cases since Wednesday.
Three of those suspects were arrested on Wednesday in the 1200 block of Candler Highway. According to Lt. Scott Ware, the three arrived at the arrest location with methamphetamine for sale. 32 year old Jared Stephen Mullins of Marietta is charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. 44 year old Stacey Clarinda Maloch of Hoschton faces a charge of party to the crime of possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. The third suspect, 48 year old William Chandler McDougald Jr. of Jefferson, is charged with possession of methamphetamine. In an unrelated case Wednesday, agents arrested three more people on drug related charges. That bust happened in the 1400 block of Hudgins Drive. Agents picked up 27 year old Elizabeth Ashley Martin of Gainesville and charged her with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and abandonment of a controlled substance. Another woman, 24 year old Britney Chavez of Cumming, is charged with possession of methamphetamine. Agents also arrested 53 year old David Allen Jones of Gainesville and charged him with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Ware said Hall County Sheriff's deputies were involved in all three cases. He said the drug quantities seized in all three busts were small. The latest two arrests came Thursday in Lula.
