Tennis: Spartans cruise past White County, 5-0

OAKWOOD -- The West Hall boys tennis team swept past White County 5-0 on Thursday in a match played at the Bobby Bailey Tennis Center.

Tatum Scroggs won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Max Wilson won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Austin Dyer won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.

West Hall's No. 1 doubles team of Grayson Kyle/Kip O'Kelley won 6-1, 6-0, and the No. 2 team of Connor Kirkland/Min Kim won 6-0, 6-0.

The Spartans (7-4, 3-1 Region 7-AAA) will play South Forsyth on Friday in the first round of the Wildcat Invitational held at the Epic Center in Duluth at 5:30 p.m.
