Second rabies case of 2013 confirmed in HallBy Derreck Booth Editor GAINESVILLE - Hall County officials Wednesday confirmed the second confirmed case of rabies for the year in the county. The latest involved a skunk.
The contact involved the skunk and a dog in the Lawson Road area of north Hall County. The Georgia Public Health Lab-Virology Section in Decatur confirmed the test results with Hall County Animal Control Wednesday. As usual, positive alert signs were being posted in the area where the rabid skunk was found.
