Baseball: North Hall opens 7-AAA season in style, pounds Fannin

GAINESVILLE -- North Hall, and Preston Ghraham, made an impressive statement at the start of the Region 7-AAA campaign on Tuesday, shutting down Fannin County 15-0 in Gainesville.

Graham silenced the Rebels, pitching a no-hitter in a complete-game, four inning performance. He also struck out nine in the win.

Zach Mize led the Trojans at the plate, producing four hits and two doubles, while McKoy Savage went 2-for-2. Drew Coker also finished 2-for-3, while Andrew Smith and Griffin Olson also racked up two hits apiece.

North Hall will travel to face Fannin County again on Wednesday.
