GAINESVILLE -- Roldan Reyes scored off two penalty kicks, as the Chestatee boys soccer team knocked off Gainesville 4-1 on Tuesday at War Eagles Stadium in Gainesville.
Reyes converted the first spot kick in the first half after Jeremy Gross was brought down in the penalty area, his strike making it 2-0. Reyes' second penalty was saved initially, but the War Eagle standout slotted home the rebound for Chestatee's final goal of the contest.
Marco Rebollar also scored for Chestatee (7-1), converting a driven cross midway through the first half. Arnold Gamez also found the back of the net on a knuckling, 30-yard free kick.
War Eagles goalkeeper Andres Olivas played strong in the net with 11 saves, including a penalty kick save in first half. Gamez also cleared one Gainesville shot off the Chestatee goal line, as the Red Elephants (4-3-1) suffered their third straight defeat.
Chestatee will travel to Walnut Grove for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Friday.
Gainesville will look to bounce back on Friday against Salem at City Park.
