GAINESVILLE - Congressman Doug Collins of Gainesville is launching a tour this month, designed to help north Georgia job creators reduce government intrusion into the private sector, according to Collins' office.
It's part of the congressman's Regulatory Reform Working Group.
The healthcare industry visit will include a roundtable of local pharmacists discussing the consequences of the so-called Obamacare initiative.
He'll move on to a tour of the Fieldale Farms Headquarters in Baldwin for the agriculture industry visit. Collins office said the congressman hopes to gain insight into how regulations are hurting the agriculture community.
The tour wraps up with an energy industry visit and a roundtable discussion with executives at Habersham EMC in Clarkesville. They're expected to discuss actions of the Environmental Protection Agency and how they're affecting energy costs.
