FLOWERY BRANCH -– The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have agreed to terms with safety William Moore on a five-year contract. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Moore, 6-0, 221 pounds, was originally selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round (55th overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft. He earned his first career Pro Bowl selection in 2012 after posting 105 tackles (74 solo) with eight passes defensed, four interceptions, four tackles for loss, and one sack. The fourth year safety out of Missouri earned NFC Player of the Week honors after he intercepted Saints QB Drew Brees twice in Atlanta’s 23-13 win over New Orleans in Week 13.

In four years with the Falcons, Moore has played in 42 games with 38 starts and collared 275 tackles (184 solo) with 11 interceptions, 25 passes defensed, five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 1.5 sacks.
