State DOT commissioner to speak at GHCC Transportation Forum

GAINESVILLE - The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) is still taking reservations for its Annual Transportation Forum which will be held next week.

The meeting will be held Wednesday at 11:30 at the University of North Georgia, Gainesville campus, and is open to the public and includes lunch.

Scheduled speakers include:

• Keith Golden, Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Commissioner
• Bayne Smith, GDOT District 1 Engineer
• Srikanth Yamala, Gainesville-Hall County MPO

The event is presented by Independence Bank of Georgia and Rochester & Associates. Other sponsors include Coca Cola of Gainesville, McDonald's, AccessNorthGa.com and The Times.
