Police look into home invasion reportBy Derreck Booth Editor GAINESVILLE - Gainesville Police were trying to sort out the report of a home invasion late Tuesday morning off Memorial Park Drive.
According to Corporal Kevin Holbrook, approximately three men, described only as Hispanic, knocked on a door in the Catalina neighborhood around 11:45 a.m. When the female victim opened the door, the men forced their way in, according to Holbrook. Investigators were trying to determine if anything was stolen. Holbrook said another occupant of the home suffered minor injuries during the incident, but authorities weren't clear yet on how they occurred.
