JEFFERSON -- The Jefferson baseball team dominated Elbert County 10-1 in five innings on Monday in Jefferson.
Max Ford earned the win on the mound for the Dragons, pitching a complete game while striking out seven and allowing just two hits and one walk.
Ford also helped lead the way at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a walk. Jake Franklin also ripped two doubles, drove in two runs and scored two runs while finishing 2-for-3, and Hanon Price went 2-for-2 with an RBI, two runs scored and a walk. Andy Nicolas also went 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Drew Carson doubled and scored three runs. Alex Gaba also had an RBI.
The Dragons (6-1) will play host to East Jackson at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday.
