No bond yet for fatal jet ski accident

GAINESVILLE - No bond was set this morning for Jeffrey Simon Hubbard, the Atlanta man arrested Friday and charged in the death of pop star Usher's stepson on Lake Lanier last summer.

Hubbard is accused of being the operator of a jet ski that collided with an inner tube on July 6, injuring Kile Glover, 11, and Glover's 15-year-old sister; the inner tube was being towed behind a pontoon boat.

Kile suffered a severe brain injury in the crash and died 15 days later.

Hubbard is being held in the Hall County Jail without bond at this time, and a bond hearing has not yet been entered.
