Soccer: Lady Elephants get shutout of Central Gwinnett

GAINESVILLE -- The Gainesville girls soccer team improved to 4-1 on the season after a 3-0 shutout of Central Gwinnett Friday at City Park Stadium.

Ashlie Gonzalez recorded the shutout in goal with five saves.

Mary Katherine Dempsey, Anna Youmans, and Margaret carpenter each scored goals for the Lady Elephants.

Gainesville next will travel to Clarke Central on Tuesday in a Region 8-AAAAA battle.
