GAINESVILLE -- Micahel Gettys struck out seven and walked just one in throwing his first career no-hitter Thursday to lead Gainesville to an 11-0 win over Habersham Central at Ivey-Watson Field.

Caleb Whitenton provided much of the offense with six RBI for the Red Elephants (3-0). Whitenton's three RBI double in the second helped break the game open as Gainesville led 7-0 after the second inning.

Skyler Weber had three hits and two RBI for Gainesville.

The Red Elephants next will play host to Class AAAAAA Archer on Monday at Ivey-Watson.
