Barrow house fire ruled arson

WINDER - Barrow County fire officials have a case of arson on their hands after a weekend blaze damaged a house.

According to Barrow County fire Lt. Scott Dakin, the fire did extensive damage to the house in the 1400 block of Princeton Drive Saturday around 8:30 a.m.

Investigators said no one was home at the time of the blaze.

The fire department and Barrow County Sheriff's Office are handling the investigation. As with any arson fire, a state reward of up to $10,000 is available for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
