Spout Springs weather siren out of serviceBy Staff FLOWERY BRANCH - Hall County officials are warning residents that one of the county's weather sirens is out of service, but they anticipate its repair in the near future.
The out-of-service siren is located in the area of Spout Springs Road, and officials said the parts needed for its repair have been ordered. In the interim, residents are urged to rely on a weather radio or the County's new Everbridge mass notification system in the case of a severe weather threat. Residents can sign up to receive Everbridge's emergency notifications by clicking on the link below. Residents are also reminded that the weather sirens are designed to warn anyone outdoors about severe weather, so the alternative warning devices mentioned above should always be used when indoors. Hall County's Warning System is tested silently every morning at 9 a.m. Link: Everbridge Link: Hall County weather siren map © Copyright 2013 AccessNorthGa.com
