GAINESVILLE - There are no new clues in the case, according to authorities, but the hope is that a $1,000 reward will prompt some information in the murder of Hannah Truelove.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office and the GBI announced Wednesday morning that Governor Nathan Deal signed an executive order authorizing the reward.

Truelove is the 16-year-old Gainesville High School student who was found murdered behind Lake Lanier Club apartments off Dawsonville Highway August 24, 2012. She had been stabbed to death.

Investigators say they are still specifically looking for a late 1990s to early 2000s four‐door passenger car, possibly a Chevrolet or Dodge, that may have been in the area of Lake Lanier Club Apartments during the evening hours of August 23, 2012. The car is light silver in color, with substantial front end damage and a driverís door that is either white or a lighter shade of silver. Investigators say they believe the occupants of the vehicle may have important information.

In addition, Truelove's mother says she will speak to the media later this afternoon, the first time she has publicly commented on the murder of her daughter.
