Soccer: Lady Trojans book spot in Mountains Cup final

GAINESVILLE -- The North Hall girls soccer team blanked West Hall 2-0 on Tuesday to earn a spot in the Northeast Georgia Mountains Cup tournament finale.

The Lady Trojans were led by two goals from Alex Lawson, with Katie Estrada and Olivia Smith providing the assists.

North Hall's defense, led by Hannah Young, Sarah Hollifield and goalkeeper Alden Powell excelled in maintaining the shutout.

The Lady Trojans will play an opponent to be determined on Friday in the championship match in Gainesville.
