Washington Street in Clarkesville to close Monday afternoon

CLARKESVILLE – The main thoroughfare through Clarkesville will close for more than two hours Monday afternoon.

Washington Street will be closed between Rocky Branch Road and East Water Street from 1:30-3:45 for concrete paving.

The closure affects the area from The Charm House to the Clarkesville Square.

Traffic will be re-routed to Jefferson Street and Madison Street.
