Fireside Craft/Art Show continues Sunday at Unicoi

HELEN – The 38th-annual Fireside Craft/Art Show will continue Sunday at Unicoi State Park and Lodge near Helen.

The event features 66 vendors on two levels of Unicoi Lodge, and attendance Saturday was good, said Jessica James, recreation director for the park.

Vendors include a mix of specialties, including pottery, basket making, woodcarving, dulcimer making, paintings, jewelry, and sculpture.

The lodge’s restaurant and new market are open for dining during the event.

Lodge officials remind visitors the facility is remaining open during renovations, not closing as originally planned.

Festival hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Admission to the indoor show is free, but there is a $5 ParkPass charged for each vehicle entering the parking area.
