CUMMING - Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB) and the Georgia Adopt-A-Stream program are hosting an evening class to listen for frog calls and find other amphibians while learning how to protect local lakes, streams and wetlands.
The free workshop will be held Friday, April 5 from 6:30-9:00. at the Fowler Park Recreation Center located at 4110 Carolene Way in Cumming.
Keep Forsyth County Beautiful Community Outreach Specialist Kevin Smith said participants should bring a flashlight and be sure to wear sturdy shoes.
“We encourage anyone interested in a fun and informative evening to register,” he said. “Those participating will hopefully have an enjoyable time while gaining a greater appreciation for our local ecosystem.”
