Girls basketball: North Ga. Christian advances to ICSGA semis

The North Georgia Christian Lady Chargers defeated the visiting Westside Warriors from Warner Robins 56-9 on Thursday in the ICSGA substate play-in game.

The Lady Chargers played their entire roster and every player scored. They were led by Liz Wethington's nine points and Nicole Ball, Jana Butler, Sarah Rhodes, and Julianne Sutton each had eight points.

For the first time in school history the Lady Chargers finished the game with no personal fouls.

With the win, the Lady Chargers advanced to the ICSGA semifinals and will play again next Thursday in Columbus at Columbus State University's arena.
