Girls basketball: Lakeview rolls past Tallulah Falls

TALLULAH FALLS – The Lakeview Academy girls used a 17-5 first quarter to grab the lead and then cruised to a 69-33 win over Tallulah Falls Friday iight in Region 8-A action.

The Lady Lions (13-12, 8-7 Region 8A-A) led 27-15 at halftime and then blew the game open in the third quarter outscoring Tallulah Falls 19-8 to run out to a 46-23 lead.

Taylor Handte and Danielle Morgan paced Lakeview with 14 points each. Schyler Miller added 11 points and Katie Gay had nine for the Lady Lions.
