Memorial service for former fire chief

GAINESVILLE - Memorial services have been announced for Dick Taylor, a former fire chief for both Gainesville and Hall County.
Taylor passed away Wednesday following a brief illness.
An Ohio native, Taylor came to Hall County in 1972. In addition to his fire duties, Taylor also served as Director of Safety and Security at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville for 14 years. He also served as the Gainesville Fire Marshal for several years.
Memorial services for Warren Richard "Dick" Taylor are Friday morning at 11:00 a.m., from Gainesville First Presbyterian Church.
