LAWRENCEVILLE – The Gwinnett Braves have awarded their $1,000 grant for the month of January to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County.

The “I Have a Dream”-themed grant, aimed at helping organizations that create opportunities for youth, will assist the Boys & Girls Clubs in serving over 5,500 children across Hall County.

The money will allow the clubs to purchase basic supplies like pencils and paper, as well as more program-specific resources like art supplies, books and computer programs. Grant funds will also be used to purchase games and activities for the clubs' game rooms.

“Community support is essential and helps us to keep our youth safe, enriched and on a path to success. We are proud to have the support of organizations like the Gwinnett Braves,” said Greg Katulka, president of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County.

For more information on the Gwinnett Braves Grant Program, including details on how your organization can apply, call the Gwinnett Braves at 678-277-0300 or email gwinnettinfo@braves.com.
