Girls basketball: Dawson County caught by late Banks County rally

HOMER -- The Banks County girls basketball team came from behind to defeat Dawson County 50-46 on Tuesday in Homer.

Sheyenne Seabolt scored 19 points and had eight rebounds in the loss for the Lady Tigers (19-3, 8-3 Region 7-AAA), while Kacie Bearden had 12 points, all on 3-pointers.

Banks County outscored Dawson 25-11 in the fourth quarter to seal the win.

Dawson County travels to face Buford on Friday.
