Wind beginning to cause problems across area

UNDATED – High winds began to cause problems across the area about 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Habersham County officials have responded to reports of trees down. A traffic signal was out on Georgia Highway 365 at Tommy Irvin Road, with power out in that area.
Hall County emergency personnel have responded to several reports of trees and power lines down, as well as a blown transformer. Power lines and a tree were reported down on Dawsonville Highway at Shallowford Road, as well as on Chestatee Road.
Banks County emergency personnel have responded to reports of lines down on Moccasin Gap Road, Wilson Bridge Road, and others. Banks County personnel also were dispatched to a reported house fire.
