Boys basketball: Dawson Co. shuts down Fannin Co.

BLUE RIDGE -- The Dawson County boys basketball team blew past Fannin County 50-27 on Tuesday in Blue Ridge.

The Tigers (3-0) held the Rebels to just two points in the first quarter.

Will Anglin, Gunner Armstrong and Jackson Putnam each scored nine points to pace Dawson County.

The Tigers will play host to Banks County at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
