Basketball: NGA sweeps Woody Gap at home

FLOWERY BRANCH – The North Georgia Christian basketball teams swept Woody Gap Tuesday at home.

The Lady Chargers whipped the Lady Falcons 58-19 behind Julianne Sutton’s fourth double-double of the season. Sutton finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Jordan Ball added 11 points, nine in the first quarter for NGA.

In the boys game, the Chargers routed the Falcons 69-23.

Sam Youngblood led North Georgia Christian with 26 points, including six 3-pointers. Caleb Eppling had 15 points for the Chargers.

North Georgia Christian next will take on Praise Academy Thursday in Powder Springs.
