Boys basketball: Lions take out Lumpkin County

The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team defeated Lumpkin County 61-50 on Friday.

Austin Montgomery scored a game-high 17 points to pace the Lions (1-2), while Zach Montgomery added 14 points.

Jacob Haskel scored 16 to lead Lumpkin, and Jonathan Gilreath added nine.

Lumpkin travels to face Dawson County on Saturday.

Lakeview will play host to Commerce on Saturday.
