Gainesville's Pep Brown signs to play with Wofford

Gainesville High senior golf standout Pep Brown recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play golf at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C.

Wofford is a Division I member of the Southern Conference.

Brown was an integral member of Gainesville's Class AAA title team in 2012, recording a 74.4 stroke average and a low round of 66, in the Region 8-AAA championship, setting a tournament record in the process.

Brown qualified for every event in which the team played, as a junior, and was named first team All-State and first team All-Region.
