State to help recruit staff for new Barrow Co. business

ATLANTA - The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Dollar General fill about 25 jobs for a new retail store in Barrow County.

A recruitment to hire staff for the store will be held Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Statham Community Center, located at 336 Jefferson St. in Statham.

The company will be recruiting experienced managers, associates, and sales personnel. Applicants must apply on-line at www.dollargeneral.com prior to the event to be interviewed by the company.

Salaries are based on experience.
