Cross Country: Lakeview boys finish eighth in state

MACON -- The Lakeview Academy boys cross country team finished eighth in the Class A private championships on Saturday in Macon.

Last year's Lions team finished 17th at the state meet. This year's Lakeview team averaged 17 minutes, 59 seconds.

Dustin Snyder led the Lions, placing 17th individually (17:13). Lewis Brooks was also 24th (17:28), while Dalton Snyder was 44th (18:03).

Kyle Lewis (18:35), Grant Hocker (18:40), Clint Walker (19:17) and Joe Pennington (19:19) also competed for the Lions.
