GPB's 'Georgia Traveler' to spotlight Gainesville

GAINESVILLE - Historic Gainesville attractions and landmarks will be featured on
the upcoming edition of Georgia Traveler presented by Georgia Public
Broadcasting. The Gainesville feature will air November 4 at 7:00 p.m.
and November 10 at 6:30 p.m.

Georgia Public Broadcasting writer, Don Smith, spent time in
Gainesville last winter interviewing local people such as Abit Massey of
the Georgia Poultry Federation and Masters Golf Champion Tommy
Aaron. GPB also took the Solar System Tour (from downtown to Longwood Park) and stopped by Longstreet Café on Riverside Drive for a behind the scenes look at
"Chef Mike" cooking up some southern fried chicken and butter biscuits.
