GAINESVILLE - It's the final day of early voting for the upcoming presidential election, and Hall County elections officials said it's been a busy season.

According to Hall County Elections Director Charlotte Sosebee, nearly 2000 voters were processed Thursday, which was the highest daily total for the early vote in Hall County.

As of Thursday night, over 21,000 people had cast early and advance ballots for the election.

Thursday's longest wait time was 40 minutes, according to the election's office. Early voting ends at 5:00 p.m. Friday.
