Investigators look for suspects in equipment theftBy Derreck Booth Editor GAINESVILLE - Hall County Sheriff's investigators are looking for leads after suspects got away with nearly $50,000 worth of new outdoor equipment.
According to Sheriff's Sgt Stephen Wilbanks, it happened at Georgia Outdoor Equipment on McEver Road. "About $47,000 worth of new outdoor equipment was stolen after the burglars breached a fence in the rear of the building." Wilbanks said. He said the equipment involved a variety of price points. "It was a mixture of both. Some of this outdoor power equipment is fairly expensive so it doesn't take long to get into that price range, but there was a substantial amount stolen," Wilbanks said. Authorities said it happened between Saturday night and Monday morning. Anyone with information regarding the crime is asked to call Investigator Nathan Manley at 770-531-6879, or submit an anonymous tip at 770-503-3232. © Copyright 2013 AccessNorthGa.com
