Authorities clear chemicals from Gainesville houseBy Derreck Booth Editor GAINESVILLE - Gainesville Police and several other agencies descended on a house on Ivey Terrace Friday morning.
The call was related to chemicals inside the house. Officers found unlabeled containers. "Investigators did have the Drug Enforcement Agency respond, as well as the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to clear the residence. Since that time we have cleared the residence," Police Corporal Kevin Holbrook said. Holbrook confirmed there were people at the house when police responded Friday morning. So far there have been no arrests. Police have not indicated where the initial call came from. Investigators remained on the scene after clearing the house. © Copyright 2013 AccessNorthGa.com
