Braselton man dies in weekend crash

BRASELTON - A Braselton man has been identified as the victim of a Saturday traffic accident in Jackson County.

The Georgia State Patrol says Rudolph Riddlehoover, 61, was traveling north on New Liberty Church Road in Braselton when his vehicle left the roadway. The driver overcorrected and hit a ditch. Authorities say he was ejected from the vehicle when it overturned.

The accident happened around 5:15 p.m., according to the Georgia State Patrol. Jackson County emergency personnel said they remained on the scene of the crash until almost 7:30 p.m.
