"Children of Eden" opens Tuesday at FBHS
FLOWERY BRANCH - The Branch Theatre at Flowery Branch High School presents "Children of Eden" Tuesday-Thursday and Saturday this week. Performances are scheduled each night a 7:00. Admission is $5 for students and $7 for adults.
In addition, an understudy performance will take place at 2:00 on Saturday and all tickets for that performance will be $5. Saturday’s 7:00 performance will run a special of buy one ticket get one half off. This production will be adjudicated for the Shuler Hensley Awards.
Freely based on the story of Genesis, "Children of Eden" is described as a "frank, heartfelt and often humorous examination" of the age-old conflict between parents and children. Adam, Eve, Noah and the "Father" who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message: that "the hardest part of love... is letting go."
