Practice, qualifying, preliminary races continue at Road Atlanta

CHESTNUT MOUNTAIN - Practice, qualifying, and preliminary races continued at Road Atlanta Thursday as the countdown continues to Saturday's Petite Le Mans - and more is on tap Friday.

The race - 1,000 miles or 10 hours, whichever comes first - is scheduled to begin at 11:00 Saturday morning.

Included in Thursday's schedule was night practice. The last four hours or so of the race on Saturday will be run in darkness.
