Gold Rush Days, Sterling on the Lake balloon festival this weekend

UNDATED - Another of north Georgia's oldest and most successful fall festivals is this weekend as well as one of the area's newest.

Last weekend, it was Mule Camp Market in Gainesville and the Big Red Apple Festival in Cornelia.

This time its Gold Rush Days in Dahlonega and the 3rd Annual Harvest Balloon Festival at Sterling on the Lake near Flowery Branch. (See links below for complete information.)

The balloon festival will benefit the Hall County Animal Shelter.
