Authorities release names in fatal van crashBy Derreck Booth Editor GAINESVILLE - According to the Georgia State Patrol, it was a 1996 Chrysler Town & Country minivan involved in a fatal crash south of Gainesville Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened on Roy Parks Road in the area of Talmo Road, according to Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell. The minivan left the road, hit a tree and overturned before coming to rest upright, according to the state patrol. Zachery Lee Parker, 30, of Warthen, was a passenger in the vehicle and was killed. Troopers said the driver, Terri Lynn Harris, 35, of Gainesville, was airlifted to Grady hospital in Atlanta, along with Trina Nycole Warren, 29, also from Gainesville. Four children riding in the van were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center and have since been released. All four are from Gainesville. They range in age from six to eight, according to the state patrol. The accident was first reported around 1:00 p.m. © Copyright 2013 AccessNorthGa.com
