Cross country: Branch teams finish top 5 in regional meet

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Class AAAAA top-ranked Flowery Branch boys and girls cross country teams had a solid showing over the weekend at one of the premier events in the southeast.

The boys took third at the Wendy’s Invitational and was the top Georgia team at the event. The girls finished fifth, up nine spots from the 2011 race.
