Police announce arrest in murder of Flowery Branch manBy Derreck Booth Editor RIVIERA BEACH, FLA - Police in Riviera Beach, Florida, Tuesday announced an arrest in case involving the murder of a Flowery Branch man last month.
The body of 41 year old James "Jimmy" Price was found shot to death late Monday night, September 17, outside of an apartment complex in the Florida community. Police say 21 year old Lavonnte Jerry is charged with first degree murder, armed robbery with a firearm and grand theft. The arrest came September 25, according to police. Investigators said there could be additional arrests. Price's high school classmates earlier set up a trust fund for his surviving children. The North Gwinnett High School Alumni of 1990 set up a donation site for Price's 13 and 10-year-old sons.
