Mill Creek flattens Meadowcreek, 55-6, as Lewis runs into record books

NORCROSS -- Jacorey Lewis ran his way into the Mill Creek record books on Friday, putting up 100 yards to become the Hawks' all-time leading rusher in a 55-6 defeat of Meadowcreek in Norcross.

Lewis also sprinted his way to three touchdowns for the Hawks (4-2, 3-1 Region 7-AAAAAA).

Mill Creek quarterback Daniel David went 3-for-4 for the game, passing for 61 yards, including a 48-yard scoring pass to Kyle Nichols.

Zac Turner (interception return) and Chris Dickhute (fumble return) also added defensive scores for the Hawks.

Mill Creek will play host to North Gwinnett next Friday in Hoschton.
