State GOP ready for presidential debates

UNDATED - The first of three October debates between President Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney takes place Wednesday night and Georgia Republicans are planning to make a party of it.

The Georgia Republican Party has announced a series of debate watching events tonight, including a couple in North Georgia.

In Cumming, the Forsyth County Young Republicans is holding their debate watching party at Taco Mac at 2275 Market Place Boulevard from 8:00-11:00 p.m.

The Gwinnett County Republican Party will meet from 8:30-11:00 p.m. at Olde Towne Tavern at 340 Town Center Avenue in Suwanee.

Other parties are being held in Atlanta, Marietta, Kennesaw, Sandy Springs and Dallas.
